Boulder, Colo., June 18, 2015 – Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. will showcase advanced and innovative intelligence and geospatial technologies at this year’s GEOINT 2015 Symposium, June 22-25 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C.
Ball Aerospace demonstration technologies on display at booth #3099 will include:
D-Day in the Consolidated Foundation Production Environment (CFPE) builds off the NGA recognition of the 70th anniversary of D-Day invasion. Ball demonstrates its 100 percent web-based production management and library content service solution that accommodates all data-types and was born cloud ready, by ingesting and showing various D-Day feature data
Commercial Data Analytics demonstrates Ball’s partnership with data analytics and imaging company OmniEarth to generate fused data products that provide actionable information. OmniEarth and Ball are partnering on a planned constellation of 18 small, low-cost, highly capable imaging satellites to be fully deployed by 2018. The OmniEarth data set will provide global coverage of the Earth every day at 5-meter (multi-band) and 2.5-meter (pan-chromatic) resolution.
Darkstar affords an analyst the capability to organize and quickly review signature data from many different targets. This web application manages EO signature data for Deep Space Situational Awareness (DSSA) in cloud-compatible virtualized environment.
Project Joshua explores capabilities for Real-time web-based geospatial dissemination. An open-source-based solution that shows the ability for geospatial interactions with a team or group.
TotalSight™ is real-time, full motion, color Flash LIDAR system capable of providing multi-spectral 3D geo-registered imagery to the user in real time either via direct downlink streaming or by user access to the onboard stored data using a UDP/IP protocol. Ball’s LIDAR system is mission and platform configurable and has been flown on rotary and fixed wing aircraft. Currently Ball is under contract to deliver two LIDAR systems to a government customer for operation on the ScanEagle® UAV. TotalSight™ supports the demand for accurate, timely, geo-registered imagery necessary for the successful operation of our military forces, and has commercial applications as well.
GEOINT is hosted and produced by the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), a non-profit non-lobbying educational organization. USGIF’s GEOINT Symposium is the preeminent event of the year for the defense, intelligence and homeland security communities.
